Hi all,

 

Though it was time for a complete update on 'The Euro Adventure'

 

Lyds and I are finishing up work on 15 April. We then get to pack all of the junk we have accumulated over the last 18 months an send it back to Oz, store it, or toss it.

 

We have booked the flights over to Turkey for the 19th, where we are going to spend a couple of days in and about Istanbul before doing a three day tour over to Anzac Code for the dawn service with Istanbul Life.

 

Could be really interesting, there is no accommodation provided for the night of the Dawn service. In there words, “Because of 10,000 of Australian and New Zealander visitor's we have to be at the ceremony area as earliest as possible, also don't forget to bring your sleeping bags.”

 

That means we should get there about 10pm the night before.

 

We are going to go across to Italy from there via the Greek Isles and lots of time on the water.

 

We don’t really have any fixed plans after that, although we are looking at the Busabout tickets to get us around a big chunk of Europe.

 

The only other thing on the cards at the moment is possibly meeting up with Em (one of my High school friends) in Sweden at the start of August.

 

The travels are going to be finishing up on the 25th of August in Edinburgh with the Military Tattoo.

 

We are going to be coming back to London for a couple of days after that before we return to Australia on the 1st of September.
