I spoke with the surgeon just before we came home tonight. He was surprised that James had taken a turn for the worse (he was in theater for over 12 hours), but said this will hopefully be a small step back. He thinks that James’ heart just needs some time to recover after the surgery and get used to working in a different way (due to the changes from surgery). We are hoping he’s right and that James heart starts to work like it should soon.
